Brightword Books, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides publishing and marketing services to authors (“you” or “Client”). By using our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Services Provided

We offer publishing, marketing, and consultation services for authors, including manuscript editing, book design, eBook formatting, and promotional activities.

2. Fees and Payments

Fees are outlined in the Service Agreement. Payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of contract.

3. Client Responsibilities

Ownership: You retain copyright of your content.
Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.
Compliance: You must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a license to use it for the purpose of providing services.

5. Term and Termination

Term: This agreement lasts until services are completed, unless terminated earlier.
Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice, subject to the terms of the Service Agreement.

6. Limitation of Liability

No Guarantee of Success: We make no guarantees regarding sales, performance, or success after publishing or marketing.
Limitations: Our liability for claims is limited to the amount you paid for the services.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify us from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your content or actions.

7. Privacy

By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in New York under the American Arbitration Association’s rules.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
